what an affair, my friend my friends. by tingpin-queer what an affair, my friend my friends. by tingpin-queer
sigh....well, for monday night story night i really wanted to upload a picture that would go with my story, so i was planning to upload my hetalia golden gay olypic german cake picture, but i also really wanted to tell a story that just happened to me today.

i decided to go with the story that happened today since it was fresh in my mind, plus its kinda short and sweet (as sweet as you can get with stoic math teachers breaking down their emotional barrier). alas, this picture has nothing to do with monday night story night.

okay, so my math student teacher does this thing at the beginning of class where he gives us all a problem and we have to work together to solve it in under 3 minutes. when we accomplish this, he gives us a random fun-fact about himself that we can write on our tests for extra credit points.
today the fun-fact was "I was born in 1990." that's what he said, and the class just kinda sat there for a few seconds before i said "so mr. r, are you a true nineties kid?"
he got very quiet  and his face just kinda fell. he just stared off into the distance for a solid thirty seconds before excusing himself and walking out of the room. he came back in five minutes later still looking like he just realized he was black.
i've never seen a look more surreal than that.

nineties kids are weird, man.

the nineties were fucked up pieces of shit that were awesome and everyone loved them and i personally believe it was the golden era for cartoons. it lead to many great albeit fucked up things.

hhaaaa, yes, those were the best ones. some of them from the early 2000's were pretty swell too, but a little bit after that a lot of the new cartoons went to shit. but i mean, good cartoons are starting to make a comeback. we are the creators of cartoons that will be considered classics for the next generation. i think that's a pretty awesome thing, so we shall do it right. :D

dude I totally know what you mean ;; that happened to me like every time I had an idea,,,

but the thing that got me through my first novel was like, you know NaNoWriMo? I couldn't do it in November because of school so I wrote an average of 1667 words basically every day for three straight months and I learned that you don't need motivation to get things done-- you just need diligence. there're always gonna be days when you don't want to do anything, but sometimes you've just gotta sit down and do it, and it's very possible to do. and if you don't like what you're writing, get everything down and fix it in post. it was probably the most freeing lesson I've ever learned omfg,,,

Wow that guy is my age and Ive never walked out of a room to cry because I was born in the 90s. Thats some serious self-aware shit. Also rainbow hat swag eyebrows are staring off into the distance of a body just killed and buried.

yeah i mean like my math student teacher is really weird. the other day we found out he was a drummer in a local screamo band.
i always thought that seeing your teachers outside of school doing non-teachery things is a bit awkward...especially when they are screaming. idk could just be me though.

very.
